South Africa.
Open roads. Wild life.

A journey between Table Mountain, coast and savannah. We plan your South Africa round trip with you, as a self-drive trip, with a driver or a combination.

How your trip could look

From the Cape
into the wild.

01

Cape Town

Table Mountain, the Waterfront and the Cape Peninsula. A good start to arrive, eat well and take your first excursions.

02

Winelands

A few quiet days between wine estates and mountains. If you like, combine it with a drive along the coast.

03

Garden Route

Lagoons, forests and small seaside towns. The route splits well into stages, and we plan your overnight stays to match.

04

Safari

Finish with days in a game reserve. We take our time to find the region and lodge that suit you.

Good to know

When to go

At the Cape it is summery and warm from about October to April. For safaris the drier months are often considered especially good. We balance both.

Good to know

Getting around

South Africa drives on the left. If you prefer not to drive, travel with a driver or in a small group.

Good to know

Time difference

The time difference to Germany is small, which makes the start of the trip easy.

Questions

Worth asking.

How long should a South Africa round trip be?

For Cape Town, the Garden Route and a safari, about 14 to 18 days is a good frame. We adapt the route to your time.

Do I have to drive myself?

No. Besides self-drive trips we also plan trips with a driver or in small groups.

When is the best time for a safari?

That depends on the region. The drier months are often considered good for wildlife viewing. We advise you for your dates.

What about entry requirements?

We check the current entry requirements with you before booking.
